What is Father's Day

Father's Day was originally brought about to complement Mother’s Day, but was seen more a target for laughter and satire. Now however it is an important part of the calendar around the world. However Mother’s Day still receives the greater recognition.

Father's Day is observed on different days throughout the world with the most widely observed of these being the Third Sunday in June by countries includeing France, United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada and China.

Father's Day is the day to show your Father how much you care; this is commonly done through the giving of various gifts.
